July 5, 2011… Baltimore SmartCEO magazine announced the 2011 Baltimore Brava! Women Business Achievement Award winners on Friday (July 1, 2011) and a Charm City familiar can be found among them! Celebrating its fifth year, the Brava! Awards recognize the contributions of 25 female business leaders in the Baltimore area, among this remarkable group of leaders is Christina Urquhart, President & CEO of Charm City Concierge (CCC). Urquhart and her 24 fellow honorees run companies that boast $800 million in collective revenues and manage more than 4,600 employees in the Greater Baltimore area combined.
In her role at Charm City Concierge (a corporate concierge service organization) Urquhart oversees a team of 45 employees, 43 of which are also proud business-women that provide unique and pivotal services throughout the Maryland,Washington,D.C., and Virginia areas. It was more than 18 years ago that Urquhart and business-partner Nancy Green (Vice President & Co-Founder) founded CCC on the principal that service enhances the work and living experience for any individual. Seeing the need to create a work-life balance for the busy professional community the two decided corporate America needed them to organize their lives and make working fun, and the idea for Charm City Concierge was born. They recognized that in a stressful global business environment, premiere assistance could no longer simply be an amenity, but a necessity.

Together with partners that include the Baltimore Ravens, BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association), The American Red Cross, Moveable Feast, The Michael Oher Foundation, the Maryland SPCA, and Helping Up Mission she and her team have collected coats, clothing, meals, school supplies, pet supplies, holiday gifts, and monetary donations for those in need during critical times.
