At Charm City Concierge, we are so fortunate to work with such wonderful, generous clients! In October, we hosted our annual coat drive and Treats 4 Troops to a huge response.
Our coats were collected from our office buildings throughout Maryland, DC and Virginia. In Maryland, the coats were donated to The Helping Up Mission through the Michael Oher Foundation. In DC & Virginia, donated coats went to the local Purple Heart chapter. Over 250 coats were collected, surpassing last years numbers!
The Treats 4 Troops candy drive takes place on November 1st. All of our clients are encouraged to bring leftover candy to our collection instead of having it around their home or office. We collected hundreds of pounds of candy this year, again, well surpassing last year’s totals! The candy will be put into holiday packages sent to US military serving overseas. Donations were given to Mover Moms and Operation Gratitude.
We can’t thank our clients enough for their support and kind donations each year. We love being able to work with local charities and bring them support from their local businesses.
Our food and toy drives will be coming up next, so please check back here and our Facebook page for more information!!
It happens every year, in the days and weeks following Halloween, your office becomes the dumping ground for everyone wanting the candy out of their house.
Whether you over-purchased for Trick-or-Treaters or your children brought in a huge haul, we can help!
Rather than being forced to eat tons of leftover candy, we have a solution that will not only benefit you, but will benefit members of the US military serving overseas.
Each year, Charm City Concierge holds collections in our properties for all our clients to donate their leftover candy. The hundreds of pounds of donated candy are given to Treats 4 Troops through Mover Moms. Treats 4 Troops then packages the candy and sends it to soldiers in Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan. Last year they sent 5 tons of candy, and are hoping to donate even more this year! Simply bring your leftover candy to your concierge on Tuesday, November 1st and we will take care of the rest!
