Washington, DC Events 

Three Kings Day Celebration

Price: Free
Only once a year can you see donkeys and sheep processing down a road in Northwest, and that’s at Gala Hispanic Theatre’s Three Kings Day. In addition to the procession, there will be performances by singer Maria Isolina and dance groups Los Quetzalitos and Alma Boliviana.

Modern Moves Festival

Price: $25
Dance Place showcases 12 local dance companies. Saturday performers include alight dance theater, Bowen McCauley Dance, Christopher K. Morgan and Artists, Dana Tai Soon Burgess & Company, Daniel Burkholder/The PlayGround and Human Landscape Dance. Sunday performers include Company E, Dance Exchange, Jane Franklin Dance, Naoko Maeshiba, Rebollar Dance and VTDance/Vincent E. Thomas.

Bull Run Festival of Lights

Price: $20 per car
This festive display of lights features penguins, snowmen, deer, candy canes and Santa. The event will include more than 40,000 animated lights set to music! After viewing the lights you can visit the new Winter Wonderland Holiday Village that includes amusement rides, an ice skating rink, entertainment, shopping, contests, food, and more.

This year will feature ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.

This illuminated outdoor winter garden walk includes a whimsical monster, an enchanting persimmon tree, a walk through kaleidoscope caterpillar, an animated flying cardinal, and swimming geese over sparkling water.
