Washington Wedding Experience

The bridal show includes exhibits of bridal fashions, invitations, photographers, ceremony sites, music, wedding cakes, decorations, honeymoon travel and much more. Many exhibitors will offer demonstrations, samples and money-saving show specials. Three shows are coming up in the Washington DC area.

International Motorcycle Show

The International Motorcycle Show at the Washington Convention Center showcases the latest sportbikes, dirt bikes, cruisers, scooters, customs, ATVs, aftermarket parts, motorcycle apparel and accessories. The family friendly event includes a motorcycle stunt show; celebrity appearances; an exotics pavilion featuring rare, high-end motorcycles; customs at the world’s largest custom bike competition; digital graffiti walls to design a custom Kawasaki bike; a Women Ride Center featuring apparel, gear and bikes for women, and more.

The Washington Winter Show, a charity antiques show in Washington DC, will feature fine antiques, distinguished events, and a Loan Exhibition. The theme for the 2014 show is “Southern Celebrations: Traditions Handed Down.” Forty-five premier dealers from the United States and Europe will offer a wide range of period furnishings and decorative arts, vintage jewelry, porcelains, ceramics, silver, and architectural garden accents.

With the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics less than a month away, we’ve brought winter sports fun for you, including an indoor skating rink and a curling area.  Special guests (scheduled to appear) include Today weatherman Al Roker, national radio personality Delilah, who is heard locally weeknights on WASH-FM, financial expert Jean Chatzky, and from the Real Housewives of Atlanta, husband and wife team Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida. There will be free health screenings and hundreds of exhibitors with lots of free health information. And, as always, you will be able to meet our News4 anchors and reporters.

Sample hearty chilis paired with Boordy Vineyards spectacular assortment of red wines. Chase away the chills with hot Wassail and take a tour of the winery; listen to live music in the upper barn or keep warm at by the toasty outdoor fire. Baltimore County Restaurant Week
This weekend is the perfect time to try new restaurants you have been dying to go to or venture to an old favorite for a fraction of the usual cost! Friday, January 10th marks the start of Baltimore County’s restaurant week. 53 restaurants throughout the county will be participating – and will offer certain dishes, entrees or entire meals at fixed prices.
