This brand new restaurant will be offering an authentic Italian menu for $54 per person for Valentine’s Day. The meal starts with a roasted tomato soup, and will be followed by three courses, all of which have several options. Highlights include a festive heart-shaped beet ravioli and a chocolate hazelnut cake for dessert.

The Oval Room

The Oval Room has long been a DC institution, perfect to celebrate a long standing holiday such as Valentine’s Day with the one you love. The special three-course menu offered is $85, with an optional wine pairing for $45. Menu choices include seasonal apple soup, rich truffle pasta and hearty agnolotti. For dessert there is a decadent chocolate trifle, passion fruit beignet and even s’mores with a graham cracker ice cream.

Rasika West End

For something less traditional head to this relatively new restaurant with modern Indian cuisine as its specialty. For Valentine’s Day, enjoy a four-course meal for $85 per person. Each course will have several options, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, and the meal will begin with a complimentary amuse bouche. Options in the other courses include tikki, which are fried potato pancakes; an uttapam, which is a savory spiced lentil pancake; and a thali, a sampler plate with items such as creamy lentils, cubes of cheese in a rich gravy and mixed vegetables. Rice and different kinds of delicious breads will be served with your meal. For dessert, enjoy a tasting plate that will feature pastries, ice cream and mousse.

Restaurant Nora

This Dupont Circle staple has long been regarded as a one of DC’s most romantic restaurants. Cozy and warm, with low lighting, it is the perfect place to have an intimate dinner for two. On Valentine’s Day, you can enjoy a five-course prix fixe menu, with many choices for each course. There will be vegetarian options available as well. The food at this organic restaurant is always fresh and for dessert be sure to try the chocolate molten cake!

Co Co. Sala

This Valentine’s Day join Co Co. Sala for their prix fixe “Seduction” menu. For $90 per person, you can try such items as Mushroom Risotto Amore or Tuna Temptation. The restaurant prides itself on each dish featuring ingredients known throughout history to be aphrodisiacs. 


Restaurant 2941

Restaurant 2941 combines not only good food but a romantic setting as well. The glass-enclosed restaurant, overlooks an outdoor pond complete with fountains and waterfalls. The restaurant also offers a special  Valentine’s Day three-course menu for $75, or $48 for a vegetarian menu. Each course has many choices including a mushroom veloute, bibb lettuce salad, grilled swordfish and for dessert, “passion to share,” a platter of sinful treats like flour-less chocolate cake, passion fruit cream and chocolate-lime mousse.

Spend this Valentine’s Day at the perfect spot for French cuisine and an intimate evening for two. The restaurant is offering a delicious four-course menu for $85 per person. Featuring items such as lobster bisque, sea scallops and veal, the menu is sure to delight. Don’t forget to save room for dessert where you can sample Roquefort ice cream with port poached pears!

Trummer’s on Main

One of the area’s newest dining destinations is offering an elegant three-course Valentine’s Day menu all weekend long in a celebration of love. The menu will offer main courses such as pan seared diver scallops and a duo of border springs lamb with a rack of lamb and lamb osso bucco.  This three-course menu is offered for $84 per person. If you are interested in more courses, they will also be offering a four-course tasting menu for $98 to include a lobster pansotti ravioli as well as a surf and turf option with rockfish and short rib ragout.

Named after the traditional drink, Chima aims to live up to the high standards of hospitality and friendship. Gacho’s roam around the dining room offering over 15 rotisserie meats to each guest. On Valentine’s Day Chima offers a special package including Rodizio & Salad Bar, Glass of Champagne, Dessert and American Coffee all for $85 per person.

Coyote Grill

Coyote Grill is home to fresh flavorful southwestern inspired creations and Valentine’s Day is no different! Take part while Coyote Grill’s executive chefs put together a delicious four-course meal special just for the day, including Lobster ravioli, Filet, Sea Bass and, of course, chocolate, with the option to add a bottle of wine all for just $75.95 per person!

Redwood uses naturally raised, organic, or sustainable ingredients so you know your food is always fresh and Valentine’s day is no exception! This Valentine’s Day they will be offering a romantic three-course menu where couples can take pleasure in options such as lobster ravioli, scallops and pork belly, and for dessert, options such as a key lime tort all for $68 per person.

Charleston Restaurant

Charleston offers a delectable prix fixe menu where couples can select three to six courses for their meal. Although the menu is constantly changing, there are always decadent selections available like lobster soup, caviar service, pan-roasted duck and grilled swordfish all while being able to choose from the 800 plus wine list!

This restaurant prides itself on celebrating the richness and style of the Italian table. Cinghiale will be offering a four-course romantic Italian dinner for $89 per person or $129 with the accompanying wines. The menu features items such as smoked oysters, polenta filled agnolotti, and grilled duck. Don’t forget to save room for dessert where you can eat delicacies such as roasted white chocolate mousse.

Tersiguel’s French Country Restaurant

Enjoy history while dining at Tersiguel’s, which features plenty of romantic dinner table options in a 19th century home. They are offering a prix fixe menu for $80 per person which includes an appetizer, entree and dessert selection with choices such as shrimp bisque, poached salmon, and a flourless chocolate cake.
