Are you looking for the next place to host an event, big or small? Look no further, The Belvedere is exactly what you have been searching for!
Whether you are planning a large corporate event, a small board meeting or a casual birthday party, The Belvedere has spaces to accompany your event planning needs.
The Belvedere stands tall and grand in the Mt. Vernon neighborhood of Baltimore and has a rich history of famous guests from F. Scott Fitzgerald, to President Lincoln, and the Queen Marie of Romania just to name a few.
The 13th Floor
Charm City Concierge had the pleasure of meeting with the staff of Belvedere and Co. We were treated to a fabulous happy hour at The 13th Floor where we enjoyed breath taking views of the city.
The space has a trendy, modern feel live jazz entertainment, a full service bar and plenty of dining room seating. The area can accompany up to 100 guests for a cocktail reception, or as little as 50.
We were served a taste of the menu which was delicious! The spread included: a crudités platter, spinach puffed pastry hors d’oeuvre’s, chicken skewers, lime shrimp and a tasty fruit and cheese plate.
Following our experience at The 13th Floor, we were led on a tour of the rest of the venue which included The Grand Ballroom, The Platinum Ballroom, The Charles Ballroom, The John Eager Howard Room, The Palm Room and lastly the Owl Bar.
The amazing original architecture and design details speak for themselves, they are truly unbelievable! The crown moldings, hard wood dance floors and hand painted wall murals leave you nostalgic and curious about the events of yesteryear that occurred within the walls of The Belvedere.
The guest capacity in each room ranges from as many as 450 guests to as little as 50 people depending on the seating arrangement and requirements of your event.
The Owl Bar
We ended our evening in The Owl bar which was a notorious speakeasy in the 1900’s with its infamous owl statues that remain there today.
The Owl Bar has a lodge like feel with its cherry wood furniture, dark walls and stain glass windows; you are instantly transported to the days of ole.
We sampled their menu items which included fantastic brick oven pizzas, duck fat fries with truffle oil, fried calamari, and southwestern spring rolls. Another popular draw to The Owl Bar is their 20 craft beers on tap.
The bar can be rented for events but is open daily for lunch, dinner and happy hour. If you’re in the area and looking for a unique place to grab dinner and drinks, The Owl Bar is your spot!
The Belvedere is a truly a spectacular, “must see” venue that is perfect for any event large or small.
