DIY: Button Bookmarks

DIY Header

As the first day of school is quickly approaching, take this time to make something unique for your child to take to school with them.

This project is great to do with your kids, just be careful with the hot glue.

Materials:

  • Buttons
  • Paperclips
  • Felt
  • Hot Glue

Directions:

1. Buttons 1Take a paperclip and carefully hot glue it to the back of the button.

2. While the glue is still hot, use a small piece of felt and press it firmly on top of the paperclip on the glue.

This will create a smooth surface for the back of your button.

3. Trim any excess felt around the glue once dry.

4. Enjoy making lots of bookmarks with a variety of buttons. You can use large or smalls buttons and get very creative!
