Washington, DC Events:
Trillectro Music Festival
RFK Stadium, Washington DC
Time: Saturday, 12pm-11pm
Trillectro Music Festival is bridging the gap between hip-hop and electronic music; ending the summer with an unforgettable day of high-energy performances and DJs playing crowd favorites, hidden gems, and their own trill creations. The event will feature both renowned headliners and emerging talent for a must-see show for hip-hop and electronic fans alike! Food and beverages will be available for sale inside the venue.
Capital Dragon Boat Races
Southwest Waterfront, Washington DC
Time: Saturday, 8am-4pm
The 2014 Capital Dragon Boat Regatta, formerly located in National Harbor, will be located on the Southwest Waterfront this year for an afternoon full of a variety of racing. Teams of 20 will be racing in multiple 500m, 2,000m races and long distance races. The races are a great boating experience for both spectators and athletes as they compete for medals and trophies.
Breweries on the Block
Union Market, Washington DC
Time: Sunday, 2pm-8pm
Celebrate the end of DC Beer Week 2014 with all of your favorite local breweries. Breweries on the Block will be featuring beers from DC Brau, 3 Stars, Atlas Brew Works, Chocolate City, Lost Rhino, Mad Fox, Flying Dog, Right Proper Beer Works, and Port City as well as frozen slushees from Suburbia and hot dogs from Red Apron Butcher. Tickets include all you can drink beer and slushees.
2nd Annual Craft BREWHAHA
Old Ebbitt Grill, Washington DC
Time: Friday , 8pm-11pm
Old Ebbitt Grill will be celebrating DC Beer Week on Friday night for an evening full of local craftbeer, food and music at the 2nd Annual Craft BrewHaHa. Nine local craft brewers will be paired with nine local chefs will celebrate the growth of craft beer here in the nation’s capital while The Hi Steps perform on stage. Tickets include entrance to the BrewHaHa and all the beer, food and music you can handle.
Maryland State Fair

Maryland Renaissance Festival
1821 Crownsville Rd, Annapolis, MD
Time: Now thru October 19th
Price: Adults $17, Children $8
Join in all the fun as they recreate a 16th century English village accompanied by crafts, pubs, jousting and more! This is one the whole family will love!
Cinema Al Fresco Open Air Film Festival
Ciao Bella Restaurant
236 South High St., Baltimore MD
Time: Fridays Thru September 5th
Movies are projected on the outside of the Ciao Bella Restaurant, and movie-goers can enjoy free popcorn. Live music and dancing begins at 7 p.m., while screenings start at 8:30 p.m. or 9 p.m., depending on the length of the film. This Friday’s movie is Used People.
Manassas Civil War Weekend
Historic Downtown Manassas, Manassas VA
Time: Friday thru Sunday
Step back in time in Historic Downtown Manassas during this three day event and experience Civil War events and learn about the lives of soldiers and civilians as they faced hardship beyond measure. Various events will be held in Historic Manassas surrounding the Manassas Museum Lawn and also at Liberia Plantation.
Fall Vegetable Gardening Class
Burke Branch Library, Alexandria VA
Time: Saturday, 10:30am-12pm
The VCE Master Gardeners of Northern VA will be putting on a free cooking class to teach participants all they need to know to keep their garden growing in the fall and winter months. The session will include what and how to plant and how to manage your crops in the colder months; along with tips on pest and disease issues. Advance registration is required.
Wags N Whiskers
The Village at Shirlington, Arlington VA
Time: Saturday, 10am-4pm
This year will be the biggest Wags N’ Whiskers to date—with three live bands and exhibits ranging from pet services and accessories merchants to onsite adoptions. Attendees will be able to enjoy $5 pet portraits, demonstrations, giveaways, merchant specials and family-friendly activities such as face painting, balloon art, strolling entertainment and live music performances by Dan Haas (10am-12pm), Taylor Carson Duo (12pm-2pm) and The Morrison Brother Band (2pm-4pm).
Jazz and Cigars Under the Stars
