If you haven’t gotten into the fall decorating spirit yet, it’s not too late! There are many simple ways to transform your porch or yard into a picturesque, seasonal landscape.

Fall Flowers

Purchasing mums, pumpkins and winter cabbage is a simple and inexpensive way to decorate for fall.

Old apple baskets make a great mum holder and can often be found for cheap at antique and consignment shops.

Hay bales are readily available this time of year and add height and dimension to your outdoor autumn vignette.

Spooky Spectacle

If you want to go for a Halloween fun and spooky look, that is also achievable on a budget we have some ideas for you.

Check out these awesome glowing ghosts easily made out of tomato cages, white lights, and a small sheet. These would look good scattered on a lawn or even placed right by a front door.

The pumpkin witch below is adorable and a unique way to welcome your trick or treaters. This project is kid-friendly and a great way to get kids involved in helping to “spookify” your home.

This is one yard spider that you want hanging around for Halloween! This is such a simple idea that makes a big impact! All you need is three varying sizes of pumpkins, large twigs and you can make your own eyes out of anything! (Hint: Check out Target’s dollar bins for giant googly eyes.)

Saving the best for last, with this witch stuck in a pot!

I absolutely love this whimsical porch accessory and look forward to making mine again this year! It might look complicated, but it is not! You’ll need: a garden urn or pot, striped stockings (found in Halloween aisle at your local big box store), old shoes, glitter paper to create a buckle, and something for stuffing the legs. Also, the old moss can be purchased at any craft store.
