Weekend Happenings in the DMV: January 9th-11th

The arctic air has hit all around the region, but just because it’s cold outside doesn’t mean there aren’t a ton of great activities happening! Resist the urge to stay indoors this weekend and get out to experience some of the wonderful events happening!

Washington, DC Events:

International Motorcycle 2015
Washington Convention Center, Washington DC

The International Motorcycle Show at the Washington Convention Center showcases the latest sport bikes, dirt bikes, cruisers, scooters, customs, ATVs, aftermarket parts, motorcycle apparel and accessories. The family friendly event includes a motorcycle stunt show; celebrity appearances; an exotics pavilion featuring rare, high-end motorcycles; the world’s largest custom bike competition; digital graffiti walls to design a custom Kawasaki bike; a Women Ride Center, and more!

NBC4 Health & Fitness Expo

The annual Health & Fitness Expo will offer the latest information on fitness and health from hundreds of exhibitors, speakers and demonstrations. There will be dozens of healthy and  fun activities for the whole family, including live Zumba and dance classes, cooking demonstrations, and the chance to meet your favorite News4 anchors and reporters.

The Washington Winter Show, a charity antiques show in Washington DC, will feature fine antiques, distinguished events, and a Loan Exhibition—all in the theme for the 2015, “Ports of Call”.  Premier dealers will offer a wide range of period furnishings and decorative arts, vintage jewelry, porcelains, ceramics, silver, and architectural garden accents.

Head to the Alamo Drafthouse in Ashburn, VA for our largest tap takeover ever! An event over a year in the making! We have coordinated with Zach Cook of Alamo Drafthouse since late last year to fulfill his first request to us as we entered the northern Virginia market. He wanted us to fill his draft lines with 32 unique Hardywood beers. So he ordered kegs and after 13 months of planning, his vision is becoming a reality.
