Washington, DC Events:

2015 Washington Auto Show

The Washington Auto Show symbolizes the brightest and boldest dreams of the auto industry, showcases the latest innovations in sustainable technologies, and attracts the most influential leaders in the industry. This year, hundreds of thousands of visitors will explore the more than 700 new makes and models from over 42 manufacturers at the 2015 show!

Cost: $15 adults, $6 children
The DC Rollergirls will be returning to the DC Armory for two must-see bouts! First, watch the Cherry Blossom Bombshells battle the DC Demoncats and then see if the Majority Whips can take down Scare Force One.

Dinner with Timber Pizza Co.

Timber Pizza Co., the district’s newest mobile wood-fire pizza business, will bring their pies and other inventive entrees from the road to the table for a pop-up at the Dolcezza Gelato factory. They have created this menu to serve as a preview of their future brick-and-mortar shop. The five-course pop-up will include beer pairings from DC Brau and features collaborations with DCity Smokehouse, DGS Delicatessen and Indigo.

This one’s for the best dressed. Go ahead and brush that dirt off your shoulder and celebrate a night of fashion, art, and culture at the Manor DC! Power dressing in New Era is not just about structure but combines feminine power, cleans lines and voluminous silhouettes. The event lineup includes: a fashion showcase on “the new art of power dressing”, Jay Snap’s “Power of Fashion” photography exhibit, live visual installations by Hisham Del Hamid, and a musical performance by MUNDY

Winter has officially hit and that means it’s time to get all your classic winter activities in. So lace up those skates and hit the ice, all while viewing the gorgeous Inner Harbor!

Fridays After Five

Head over to the National Aquarium on Friday night after 5pm for discounted admission but the same amazing experience. The last entry time is 8pm and exhibits are open until 9:30pm. Buy your tickets online or on-site.

Sugarloaf Craft Festival

Time: Friday and Saturday 10am-6pm, Sunday 10pm-5pm
Cost: $8 online, $10 at the door
The Sugarloaf Crafts Festival features hundreds of artists from all across the United States and Canada. The show offers unique creations in pottery, sculpture, glass, jewelry, fashion, home décor, furniture and home accessories, items for the garden, and photography. In addition to top national artists, the Festival will also introduce new and emerging artists showcasing the latest trends.

Merrifield will offer a class on “Landscaping with Native Plants” to show the increasing importance in preserving habitat for native plans and wildlife. Fair Oaks will offer a class on “Growing Plants Indoors” to help you select plants that are best adapted to your home. Gainesville will offer a class on “The Principles of Landscaping” to help you apply the basic design principles and avoiding common mistakes.
