Spring is in full swing and Easter weekend is upon us! So whether Easter egg hunts are your style or you would rather see the Cherry Blossoms, there is something for everyone and every family this weekend!

Baltimore Farmer’s Market & Bazaar

Time: Sundays thru December 20th from 7am to sell out (typically noon)
Cost: Free – prices vary on items available for purchase
Baltimore’s farmer’s market and bazaar is open for the season! There will be a huge variety of items available for purchase including fruits and vegetables, baked goods, dairy products, and dozens of food vendors! Vegan food items will be available.

Come celebrate the opening weekend for the Fall Church Farmers Market.  Every Saturday from April to December, shop from over 45 local farmers!  Also check out the monthly Chef Series, which brings chefs from restaurants all over the DMV to showcase recipes and share tastes using local and seasonal produce.

All The President’s Pups Walking Tour
George Washington’s Mt. Vernon Estate

Cost: $5.00
Bring your pup along for this 1.25-mile walking tour and explore canine life at Mount Vernon, from the first president’s dogs to the dogs that live at the estate today. The tour stops at five historic locations, including the West Gate. Along the way, learn about George Washington’s love for dogs and his dogs’ unusual names!  Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Herndon Easter Egg Hunt

Time: Saturday, from 9:30am to 11:30am
Cost: $9 for Children ages 7 and under.
Children are invited to bring their parents for a fun-filled morning in the park hunting for eggs and meeting the Easter Bunny!  Register online or on site the day of the event.
