Summer Drinks in a Splash!

Berry Sangria

Ingredients:

  • ­1 bottle (750mL) rose wine
  • 1 cup strawberries (thinly sliced)
  • ½ cup raspberries
  • ½ cup blackberries
  • ½ cup blueberries
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 12oz lemon-lime soda

Directions:

  1. In a pitcher whisk together wine, fruit, and sugar.
  2. Let chill for at least 1 hour.
  3. Mix wine and fruit with lemon-lime soda.
  4. Serve over ice.

Raspberry Limoncello Proseecco

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups prosecco (chilled)
  • 1 cup limoncello liqueur (chilled)
  • 1 cup raspberries (frozen)
  • 6 sprigs fresh mint

Directions:

  1. In a pitcher whisk together prosecco and limoncello.
  2. Serve over frozen raspberries and mint sprigs.

 Pineapple Lemonade

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice

Directions:

  1. In a saucepan combine the sugar and a cup of water over medium heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Let cool.
  2. In a pitcher whisk the cooled sugar water, lemon juice, pineapple juice, lime juice, and 5 cups of water.
  3. Let chill and serve over ice.

Watermelon Slush

Ingredients:

  • 5 cups of seedless watermelon (diced)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • juice of a 1 lime

Directions:

  1. Combine all the ingredients and 1 cup of ice in a blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Serve immediately.

Raspberry Peach Iced Tea 

Ingredients:

  • 2 tea bags
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 2 peaches (diced)
  • 3 tablespoons agave nectar
  • mint leaves

Directions:

  1. Steep tea bags in 4 cups boiling water. Let cool and discard tea bags.
  2. Blend peaches, raspberries, and agave nectar in blender until smooth. Strain to remove any large pieces of pulp.
  3. In a pitcher whisk together the fruit mixture and brewed tea. Add in some mint leaves.
  4. Let chill and serve over ice.
