As October gets under way the fall events are popping up all over the place and there are so many great ones to choose from! Be sure to get out and enjoy everything the weekend has to offer.


Washington, DC Events:

Taste of DC is a two day culinary and cultural event held in the nation’s capital. The festival includes delicious brews, lively entertainment, the area’s best food trucks and restaurants, corporate partners, and much more!

All Things Go: Fall Classicall things go fall classic

Cost: $60 online, $80 at the door
The All Things Go Fall Classic is one of the few music festivals held within the District; making it a can’t-miss event for concertgoers to experience a diverse group of artists unlike any others. Union Market will host musical performances and an amazing food selection at the second annual event.

Night Nouveau

The 3rd annual Night Nouveau celebrates fall with style and innovative themes; making it the most talked about event for young professionals. Halcyon House will be transformed into three kingdoms inspired by the lands in Game of Thrones. Enjoy an open bar, free tastings from DC’s hottest restaurants, and a live DJ.

Baltimore Farmer’s Market & Bazaar

Cost: Free – prices vary on items available for purchase
Baltimore’s farmer’s market and bazaar is open for the season! There will be a huge variety of items available for purchase including fruits and vegetables, baked goods, dairy products, and dozens of food vendors! Vegan food items will be available.

Sugarloaf Craft Festivalsugarloaf crafts again

Time: Friday, & Saturday, 10am-6pm; Sunday, 10am-5pm
Cost: $8, 12 & under are free
Check this annual festival where more than 250 of the nation’s finest artisans will display homemade crafts including pottery, sculpture, jewelry, photography, and more! There will also be live entertainment, specialty food, and craft demos.

Ryleigh’s Oysterfest

Every fall, Baltimore’s historic Federal Hill transforms into an oyster lovers paradise. This annual two-day food and entertainment festival includes a weekend full of delicious food and fun!

At the 7th Annual Taste of Greece attendees can enjoy authentic Greek food, music and dancing! Sweet Home Virginia Gala

The annual Sweet Home Virginia Gala raises funds to support Community Foundation for Northern Virginia’s work in the region.  The event includes a cocktail reception, live auction, and presentation of the Leadership Award for outstanding service and commitment to Northern Virginia.

Reston Oktoberfest is one of the largest fall festivals in NoVa, featuring the best in fall brews with traditional Oktoberfest fare from area restaurants. Restaurants and vendors will line the streets of the RTC with live music with traditional German tunes from various bands. Don’t forget to enter the Pumpkin 5K or Kids’ Pumpkin Dash!
