Join the party at Old Ebbitt Grill for the 21st Annual Oyster Riot!  One of DC’s prominent food & wine events will feature 25 different oysters from both coasts, shucked to order. Featured wines will include the winners of the International Wines for Oysters Competition.

Learn about the modern history and renaissance of the modern cocktail from over the last 30 years.  From the foodie subculture to home beer brewing, this current era saw the rise of the Cosmo and the Mojito!  This special seminar will also include a tasting of specialty cocktails.

For the 32nd year visitors will discover the joys of shopping at Maryland’s premier Christmas event! This traditional arts and crafts event brings together many fine artisans and merchants to make your holiday shopping enjoyable.

Join the festivities including the opening of Santa’s workshop, Santa’s arrival by the fire truck, and the tree lighting ceremony!

Virginia Events:

Bring the kids and join the city of Leesburg for the biggest kickoff to the holiday season and the lighting of the Musical Christmas Tree in Leesburg Village Plaza.  The festivities also include horse-drawn carriage rides, caroling and holiday cheer.

For more than 12 years the Bull Run Festival of Lights draws hundreds of visitors from around the DMV to view over 40,000 lights set to holiday music!  Visit Bull Run Regional Park for the opening weekend of the Festival of Lights that runs through January 3.
