Washington, DC Events:

Washington DC Auto Show Opening Weekend

One of the nation’s top 5 auto shows is back again! Visit the convention center for the DC Auto Show’s opening weekend to see cutting edge exhibits, the latest car models, and not to mention some historic ones. Visit their website for a complete list of events and hours throughout the week.

DC Rollergirls Season Opener

Cost: $15, $6 for children 6-11, free for children under 6

Join the DC Rollergirls in celebrating the launch of their 10th anniversary season!  There will be plenty of competition and high energy bouts to go around!

Ice Yards 2016

Cost: $10, this is 21+ event

Head out to the Navy Yard this weekend for this outdoor ski themed event!  Activities will include ice bars, cocktails, live music, ski lounges, outdoor fire pits, food trucks and much more.

11th Annual Polar Bear Plunge
National Harbor, National Plaza

Cost: donations encouraged

The “Keep Winter Cold” Polar Bear Plunge is a fundraising event, to encourage our region to avoid fossil fuels and to replace them with clean energy. Each year, activists, friends and families show their commitment to fighting climate change by jumping in the icy Potomac River at National Harbor.
